“Our AC took a dive on us during the start of the summer and with the insane heatwave this week in the Bay Area it was becoming unbearable staying in the house with our internal temps going above 100 degrees! A few other places we checked out to fix it, including our own home insurance, were asking anywhere from $3000 to $4000 just to repair our outside AC unit, to use any Freon, etc. And it was even more so just to replace both the outside and inside AC units with them. So I ended up wanting a second opinion and found Air Synergy last night, they were local and I read many great things about Alberto and the company via google reviews.

With that said, Alberto showed up earlier today to inspect our AC and ultimately did end up getting it working again and keeping our house cool for at a fraction of the price. He found out that there was nothing wrong with our outside AC unit, but it was the inside AC unit having a blockage. While he couldn't remove the blockage fully — that requires a full inside/outside AC unit replacement — he did fix everything else and got cold air running into the house again. He told us to keep it running for 1 hour and then shut it off for 15 minutes, repeating this interval, to keep it working properly. All in all, it took Alberto about 2 hours or so to fix everything for us properly and for at a fraction of the cost, this is in contrast to everyone else we've come across each taking 30 minutes only to barely look at the issue(s) and charging us a ton of money for zero work done.

All in all we're VERY SATISFIED with Air Synergy and will ask them to come back to install our new AC units sometime early next year and for future maintenance too! Thanks Alberto, you're a life saver!”

He was personable and quickly analyzed the problem(s):
replaced bad dual run capacitor;
installed new hard start kit for compressor to work along with new capacitor to increase compressor torque and relieve stress on new capacitor;
repaired burnt electrical connections and installed new connectors.

“I contacted Air Synergy and the owner, Alberto, was able to come out pretty quickly. He diagnosed the problem with my old outdoor AC condenser. The compressor was bad. He gave me three options to get my ac system working again, and I decided to replace the complete outdoor unit, since it was old and inefficient. I had the evaporator coil recently replaced so there was no need to replace that.
